Ingredients
2 cups Quinova Multimillet Mix
Green Coriander finely chopped
1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
1/2 tsp Coriander powder
1/2 cup Onion chopped
Salt to taste
1 tsp Carom seed (Ajwain)
1/2 cup Oil
Recipe:
Take Quinova Multimillet Mix in a big bowl, add finely chopped coriander, onion, turmeric powder, coriander powder, salt and carom seeds and knead the dough using water.
Then apply some oil on dough and leave it for 5 minutes.
Now make small balls of the dough and apply oil on the paratha pan and bake both sides.
Serve kids hot Paratha with curd or sweet and sour tomato chutney.
Quinova Parantha
Ingredients:
2 cups Quinova Multimillet Mix
2 cups powdered sugar
1 cup Fox nuts( Makhaana)
1 cup dry fruits (cashew nuts, almonds, raisins, melon seeds, gum)
1/2 cup Desi ghee
1/2 teaspoon Green cardamom powder
Recipe:
Firstly,deep fry all the dry fruits well in ghee, then make a fine powder of it.
Roast Quinova Multimillet Mix in 4 teaspoons ghee until it turns golden brown.
Transfer it in a big bowl, add powdered sugar, dry fruits powder, ghee, cardamom powder and mix well.
Now make small Laddus of this mixture. (You can also use ghee or milk as per requirement for binding Laddus)
Give one Laddu everyday in children's tiffin.
Quinova Choorma Laddu
Ingredients:
1 cup Quinova Multimillet Mix
2 cups chopped green seasonal vegetables (carrot, onion, tomato, capsicum, peas, any leafy green vegetables)
½ cup finely chopped coriander
salt to taste
1/2 cup oil
Recipe:
Take a big bowl, add Quinova Multimillet Mix and mix all the ingredients (finely chopped green vegetables, green coriander, salt).
Then add water little by little and prepare the batter.
On a hot pan, apply oil well, pour the batter with a big spoon, spread it on the pan, cover and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
Turn the chilla to the other side, apply some oil, cover and cook.
Serve kids for breakfast with sweet and sour tomato chutney.
Quinova Chilla
Ingredients
1 cup Quinova Multimillet Mix
2 cups powdered sugar
1/2 cup finely chopped dry fruits (as desired)
1/2 cup desi ghee
1/2 teaspoon green cardamom powder
Recipe
First of all, heat desi ghee and roast Quinova Multimillet Mix until it turns golden brown.
Heat water in a vessel, add sugar to it and make syrup, keep it on flame until the syrup thickens a little.
Then add the roasted flour to this syrup, mix well for 2-3 minutes to avoid lumps and turn off the flame.
Add finely chopped dry fruits and cardamom powder and mix well.
Add half a spoon of desi ghee on top and serve hot Lapsi or Halwa to kids.
